Getting an In-Home Massage should be a stress-free affair, and the inevitable afterglow should be allowed some time to linger and set in for maximum benefit. This is made possible by receiving massage therapy in the comfort of your own home. After all, given the choice, who wants to jump straight into a car and hit the roads after a nice relaxing therapeutic massage?

Our licensed in-home massage therapists will travel to your home to provide a high quality professional massage.

All you must do is give us a call, tell us what kind of massage you like, and what time you'd like to have it. Our massage therapist will travel to your home, bring everything needed, set up and let you relax and enjoy.

Having a special occasion to celebrate? Let us know! We can stage your sessions with music, candles, champagne, chocolates you name it for a small set-up fee. This option works well with bridal parties also.

Gratuities are customary and not automatically included on most services. (Certain requests such as groups/multiple therapists and some hotel locations may be quoted an 18% tip-included price). The average tip is between 15% and 20%. If you are paying by credit card and wish to add an 18% gratuity (before any discounts) just ask for your massage to be "all inclusive". Cash tips are welcomed as well.

Couples/Unity Massage Rates
Looking for a couples/unity massage at home or in your hotel in Lexington or the surrounding counties? Unity Massage could be two friends, mother daughter, basically anyone wanting to share the same room for massage/spa service not romantically involved.

Booking with 24 hours notice allows us to prepare for your sessions and ensure we have two therapists available for you. There are instances where we may be able to accommodate your wishes with less than 24 hours notice, but it is not a guarantee.

Pricing is the same as Swedish and Therapeutic Massage just double pricing and gratuity.

Hotel service clients wishing to pay cash may be required to provide a deposit/credit card hold equal to the full price of the service quoted in advance. Upon receipt of cash, the authorized deposit will be voided, and any held funds released within a maximum of 3-4 business days. Cancellation of appointments scheduled within 24 hours of service-time require a minimum of 2 hours' notice or the full amount will be charged. Cancellation of appointments scheduled more than 1 day in advance requires at least 8 hours' notice or the full amount will be charged.

How Corporate Chair Massage Works
We typically massage in-office an average of 4-5 people per hour, per therapist. If you have more than 15-20 employees or a limited amount of time we can schedule two or more therapists to work simultaneously.

All you'll need to do is designate a clear area at least 5' x 5' where people can take turns on the seated massage chair. You are welcome to get as creative as you like to create a spa-like atmosphere (candles, etc.) and if you would like us to bring some soothing music just ask.
Rates listed are per therapist. There are no additional fees or taxes except possibly for certain types of facilities such as hotels, university campuses, hospitals and convention centers (depending on job volume). Chair massage rates vary depending on several factors, including type of event, location and the number of therapists required. Typically, we accommodate 4-5 people per hour, per chair , and recommend using at least two therapists for jobs requiring more than about 3 total chair massage hours.
Corporate Chair Massage Rates
A minimum gratuity of 10% or $20 per therapists (whichever is greater), per day, will be added to your total. You are welcome to offer an additional amount as you see fit.

Therapist Breaks & Pacing
Many people do not recognize that while participants are relaxing and de-stressing, our chair massage therapists are performing strenuous physical labor and exerting a lot of energy! This is especially true for shifts lasting more than 2-3 hours. We wouldn't send anyone not up to the task at hand, but even the sturdiest need a little break here and there. By pacing things properly, our therapists can maintain their good energy and ensure the last massage of the day is as good as the first.

Therapists also need at least a minute or two in between participants to take a breath, have a sip of water, wipe down the chair as needed, and reset for the next person. It is best in general if you allow the therapist to signal they are ready for the next participant, so they can invite the person onto the chair. Otherwise, enthusiastic participants may rush in and inadvertently deny the therapist this important time.

- For shifts lasting 2 hours or less, a break should not be necessary (other than a possible quick restroom break if needed).
​
- For shifts lasting more than 2 hours but less than 6, we suggest allotting a 10 minute break every two hours. This shorts break will allow a therapist the time to use the restroom and take a well-deserved "breather".
​
- For shifts 6 hours or longer, you should consult with you New Dawn Massage appointment coordinator. We may suggest a 30-minute lunch break in addition to the other short breaks. This extended break would not be billed or counted against your chair massage time.

Gratuities
Except for public events, our therapists do not expect or commonly receive tips directly from participants. To reward our therapists for their hard work (and considering that it is customary for this type of service), we add a modest 10% base gratuity to the final bill. You are free (but in no way obligated), to offer more. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, we can refund the included gratuity.

Customized Mobile Massage reserves the right to require a credit card deposit or payment prior to booking for any appointment request at its discretion.
Scheduling of Participants/Staff
Every location is set up differently and certain ways of "scheduling" seated massage participants will work for some clients better than others.
​
There are three common ways that clients will approach scheduling. Please review them to consider what will work best for you!
​
1. Exact Timing Scheduling. This is where you set up a schedule in advance, and each participant is given a precise time sot for their chair massage. (Many people will post or circulate a signup sheet ahead of time). This option can work well, especially if the staff is disciplined and punctual, but in many cases may require some flexibility here or there to stay on track. This is counterintuitive because one would assume that this option would keep things more organized, but things can also go off track very easily and it's a good idea to be prepared for that. What can happen?

Participants often miss their slot (either because they forget or something unexpected comes up causing a conflict). This can result in an entire time slot being wasted/lost which we do not want to happen. We want you to make the most of the time you're paying for!

Over the course of several hours with 4+ mini-appointments per hour per therapist scheduled, it can occasionally be difficult for therapists to stay exactly on schedule, sometimes for reasons they cannot control (someone takes a long time getting out of the massage chair, therapist need an extra unscheduled restroom break, etc.) In some cases, participants can either lose their scheduled slot (in which case you would need to find another opening or add extra time at the end, assuming they are available) or the therapist may need to abbreviate someone's chair massage time to get back on schedule.

If a therapist for any reason arrives even 10 minutes late (not common but it can happen in case of bad traffic some other unpredictable event), the chair massage schedule may need to be reworked which can become complicated and cause stress.

If you are not overly concerned about these potential hiccups and feel that you and/or your staff can be flexible in case things get off track for any reason, it can work out well.
Scheduling of Participants/Staff

Free Flowing. You will designate someone (or yourself) as the massage coordinator. This person can monitor progress and keep people moving through in a more loosely organized, free flowing He or She just needs to make sure that people are aware of the hours therapists will be on site, and will notify chair massage participants (in person, by phone, etc.) when they are "on deck" so they can have their turn as soon as the therapist is finished with the prior person and ready to go again.

Time "Windows". This method works similarly to the Free Flow method above but you can set up general "windows" of time for groups of participants, so they are provided a general idea of when they should expect to be ready in advance. They can then be notified when an available time slot is coming up and make their way to the designated chair massage area.
